Friendly and informal chess tuition for junior players

Epping Forest Junior Chessmates is the junior section of the Roding and Loughton Chess Club for 7 to 14 year old boys and girls. We meet every Tuesday during school term time from 5pm to 7pm at:
Loughton Bowls Club, Eleven Acre Rise, Loughton, Essex (opposite Loughton swimming pool) [click here for map]

Our sessions are friendly and informal with the services of Peter Walker, Chief Coach to the Essex Junior Chess Association, qualified teacher & BCF chess coach.

We have friendly competitions, friendly matches and coaching towards recognised British Chess Federation junior examinations in chess practice and theory. Just come along any Tuesday to meet us and join in one of our friendly sessions, or for further information please email Chessmates.
